Position Summary:

The VP of Product at Miovision is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the strategic direction and overall success of the company's product portfolio. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of the urban mobility market, robust technical expertise, and exceptional leadership capabilities. The VP will spearhead the Product Line Management, Platform (Software and Hardware), UX Design, and PMM collaborating closely with engineering, marketing, and sales to formulate and implement product strategies that align with Miovision’s broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Product Leadership:

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with Miovision's mission to lead in urban mobility solutions.
  • Conduct extensive market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify opportunities for product development.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year product roadmap that aligns with investment categories: enhancing core products (30%), protecting core business (40%), building next-gen platforms (20%), and innovating urban mobility solutions (10%).
  • Prioritize product initiatives based on market needs, strategic alignment, and potential ROI.
  • Lead the creation of business cases for new products, including market analysis and financial projections.
  • Oversee pricing and packaging strategies to maximize profitability.

Product Development and Management:

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation through launch, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with engineering to define clear product requirements that meet customer needs.
  • Mentor Product Line Managers (PLMs) in executing effective product strategies.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the product team to ensure user-focused design and development.
  • Monitor product performance using key metrics to drive improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Partner with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure effective product development and launch.
  • Collaborate with marketing on go-to-market strategies that effectively position Miovision’s products.
  • Ensure sales teams are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools for effective selling.
  • Communicate product strategy and progress to stakeholders across the organization.

Innovation and Market Leadership:

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in urban mobility to identify innovation opportunities.
  • Drive the development of next-generation products leveraging advanced technologies such as AI, computer vision, and edge computing.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation within the product team by encouraging experimentation.
  • Position Miovision as a thought leader in urban mobility by representing the company at industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of successful product launches.
  • In-depth knowledge of the urban mobility market, including trends and competitive landscape.
  • Experience with Agile methodology is essential.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
